Freestyle Canada – Vancouver, BC – Freestyle Canada, the newly rebranded national governing body for freestyle skiing, is excited to announce a new, multi-year partnership with BUFF, the original multifunctional headware company.

Sporting over 400 styles and custom designs as part of their special collections, BUFF is distributed exclusively in Canada through Green Extreme Outdoors, a family-run business based in Canmore, Alberta.

Partnership discussions began in the Spring of 2016 and concluded just prior to the kick-off of this freestyle skiing season. BUFF will receive visibility on the Canada Cup Series presented by Toyo Tires, and activation benefits at Freestyle Canada’s  upcoming 2017 FIS Freestyle Ski World Cup, hosted at WinSport’s Canada Olympic Park in Calgary, Alberta at the end of the month.

“The partnership with Freestyle Canada is a perfect fit for the BUFF brand. We are excited to expand our involvement in winter sports with this talented group of athletes,“ said Gaby Munz, Marketing Director.

Freestyle Canada has created three unique BUFF designs: one for our official merchandise line, one for the competitors of our Canada Cup Series presented by Toyo Tires, and one for the over 400 volunteers Freestyle Canada recruits for our domestically hosted FIS Freestyle Ski World Cups.

“Just like the athletes, coaches and members of our organization, BUFF represents the highest quality and innovation in their industry,” states Jenn Johnson, Director of Marketing, Communications and Partnerships with Freestyle Canada. “We’re thrilled to welcome them to our freestyle partner family and look forward to working with them in the coming seasons.”

BUFF’s marketing team recently travelled to SilverStar Mountain Resort in Vernon, BC for the third event on our Canada Cup Series, presented by Toyo Tires, and will be releasing a partnership announcement video featuring Freestyle Canada’s next generation of national team athletes in the coming weeks.
