Speed Skating Canada – Competitions will be held January 13-15 at Maurice-Richard Arena in Montreal

Montreal, January 5, 2017 – Speed Skating Canada is inviting media representatives to come and meet the Short Track National Team members Wednesday morning, January 11 (see schedule below), at the Maurice-Richard Arena (2800 Viau St.) in Montreal, a few days prior to the start of the 2017 Canadian Senior Championships, January 11-13, at the Maurice-Richard Arena.

The 32 best male and female skaters who will take part in this competition will vye for a spot on the teams that willl take part in the ISU Winter World Cups, as well as for the 2017 World Championships.

WHEN AND WHAT?     Wednesday, January 11

                                                                     

Women’s National Team

Training: 9 am to 10:05 am (image opportunity)
Media availability: 10:30 am to 11 am (interviews)

 

Men’s National Team

Training: 10:20 am to 11:50 am (image opportunity)
Media availability: 12 pm to 12:30 pm (interviews)
