I played soccer my whole life and after having my kids it was important to me to still have an outlet where I could just be me – and where I could forget about everything for an hour! Soccer has continued for me and I’m always so proud when my family comes to watch me play! When my son, daughter and husband all took up hockey I decided to give it a try and signed up for a women’s learn to play program! It was so much more fun than I expected! The pandemic put my organized sports activities on hold – so I started running more regularly – often with the kids next to me on their bikes!
