WHO

We’ll recognize coaches in the following categories, in addition to those who have coached at international events in the past year and those who have coached a minimum of 25 years in the province.

  • Vince Leah Award – Fundamentals
  • The Konica Minolta Dr. Jack Hunt Award – Learn to Train 
  • Janet Arnott Award – Train to Train 
  • Peter Williamson Memorial Award – Train to Compete/Train to Win 

This year, coaches are being recognized for their accomplishments throughout their entire careers. From long-standing coaches who’ve coached in their sport for over 20 years, to coaches who’ve coached more than six sports over their career, to coaches who’ve transitioned into builder and community leader roles, our athletes and the entire sport community are fortunate to receive the valuable contributions these and so many more coaches make. Please help us celebrate them! 

Sport Manitoba staff members as well as most of our winners will be available for media interviews on or after Tuesday, April 6, 2021, at Noon.

QUINous allons reconnaître les gagnants dans les catégories suivantes, et aussi les entraîneurs qui ont oeuvré lors d’événements internationaux l’année précédente ainsi qu’à ceux qui se sont dévoués pendant au moins 25 ans dans la province.

  • Prix Vince Leah – Principes fondamentaux
  • Prix Dr. Jack Hunt de Konica Minolta – Apprendre à entraîner 
  • Prix Janet-Arnott – Entraîner les entraîneurs
  • Prix Peter Williamson – Entraîner pour la compétition – entraîner pour gagner 

Cette année, les entraîneurs sont reconnus pour leurs réalisations tout au long de leur carrière – des entraîneurs qui ont été entraîneurs pendant plus que 20 ans, des entraîneurs qui ont entraîné plus que six sports tout au long de leur carrière, et des entraîneurs qui sont passés aux rôles de constructeur et de dirigeant de leurs communautés. Nos athlètes et la communauté sportive sont chanceux de recevoir les précieuses contributions que ces entraîneurs et tant d’autres apportent. Aidez-nous à les célébrer!

Certains membres du personnel de Sport Manitoba, ainsi que plusieurs de nos finissants, seront disponibles pour les entrevues à compter du mardi le 6 avril à midi.
