Canada Snowboard – Vancouver, BC – Zoe Bergermann (Erin, ON)  took home the silver medal during Saturday’s Snowboardcross World Cup  in Feldberg, Germany.  This is Bergermann’s first career individual Snowboardcross World Cup podium, and it follows her first ever nomination to the Canadian Olympic Snowboardcross team.

Chasing Michela Moioli (ITA) , who would eventually come out with the win, Bergermann managed to hold a mostly comfortable lead in second, while France’s Julia Pereira de Sousa Mabileau squeaked in behind her in 3rd at the finish line. Kevin Hill (Vernon, BC) was the top Canadian male finisher, sitting just off the podium in 4th.
 
The Snowboardcross team will compete in one final individual World Cup race in Feldberg on February 4th before heading to South Korea for the PyeongChang 2018 Winter Olympic Games.
