YOUTH BOWL CANADA’s 2018 NATIONAL FIVEPIN CHAMPIONSHIPS
Bowl Canada – Provincial Champions from across Canada are preparing for a trip to Saskatchewan as REGINA hosts the nation in the 54th ANNUAL edition of the YBC (Youth Bowl Canada) National Fivepin Championships in a few short weeks.
The prestigious event kicks off with Opening Ceremonies on Saturday morning, May 5th at the University of Regina (Gym 1). Immediately following the ceremonies, the assembled community will launch into 3 days of exciting competition. Fivepin youth bowlers will compete for national titles and the coveted YBC GOLD, SILVER and BRONZE Medals in both singles and team play.
The hidden jewel in Canadian youth sports, Youth Bowl Canada’s National Fivepin Championship assembles 168 young athletes and 72 coaches, representing all provinces and one territory. The competition will be held in 4 local bowling centres in Regina simultaneously, namely; Nortwon Lanes (hosts the Singles event), Bolorama Lanes (hosts Bantam Team events), Glencairn Bolodrome (hosts Junior Teams) and Golden Mile Lanes (hosts Senior Teams).
Gold, Silver and Bronze medals will be awarded in the following divisions and age categories:
10 years of age and under Bantam Boys Singles, Doubles, Mixed Teams & Trios Teams
at December 31st, 2017 Bantam Girls Singles, Doubles, Mixed Teams & Trios Teams
11 to 14 years of age Junior Boys Singles, Doubles, Mixed Teams & Trios Teams
at December 31st, 2017 Junior Girls Singles, Doubles, Mixed Teams & Trios Teams
15 to 19 years of age Senior Boys Singles, Doubles, Mixed Teams & Trios Teams
at December 31st, 2017 Senior Girls Singles, Doubles, Mixed Teams & Trios Teams
