Alpine Canada Alpin – WEEKEND RACE ADVISORY
February 19-21, 2016

It’s an alpine-only weekend for Alpine Canada Alpin athletes with speed events for both the men’s and ladies’ teams. The women are in La Thuile, Italy for a downhill race Friday and Saturday, and a super G race on Sunday. The men are in Chamonix, France for an alpine combined race Friday, followed by a downhill Saturday where Canada’s Jan Hudec took first-place in 2012 and was joined by Erik Guay on the podium who finished in third-place. Read more.

U18 NATIONALS RACE ADVISORY February 23-26, 2016 

Athletes from across Canada will be coming to Collingwood, Ontario to compete in this year’s SportChek U18 National Championships. Hosted by Georgian Peaks Ski Club and the Toronto Ski Club, U18 Nationals will start on February 23rd, 2016 and run until February 26th, 2016.

“We’re excited to be hosting the U18 Nationals in Ontario again,” said Alpine Ontario Alpin (AOA) Executive Director Scott Barrett. “Hosting a national alpine competition is a testament to the quality of ski racing in Ontario.  Our hills may be a little bit smaller but there is an alpine spirit in Ontario that’s hard to beat.  We know all of the athletes are going to have a great experience next week.” Read more.
