Wearing White After Labour Day
CSTA – Wearing White After Labour Day
Ever wondered about the age old fashion guideline about not wearing white after Labour Day? It stems from the 1900’s when northern city folk flocked to summer getaways spots on the May long weekend leaving their heavier and bulkier items of clothing behind in favour of lighter (and whiter) frocks.
These days, white is pretty much a fashion staple all year-round which is what makes the Nuit Blanche holiday party so much fun! It’s a chance to wear white in December! This year, it’s also a Brazilian Beach party so you’ll have the chance to break out your flip flops and sunglasses and relive summer (and Rio) with all of your sport community friends.
The Early Bird ticket deadline is only days away – this Friday – September 30th!
So far, many of your sport colleagues are confirmed to be there and a few special VIP guests are on the invite list. What are you waiting for? Reserve your tickets at the EB rates today. Contact Kelly Weiss at email@example.com to purchase tickets.
Block of 5 = $350
Block of 10 – $670
Block of 15 = $990
After September 30th the price goes up to $85 per person. Confirm your attendance now and you’re your calendar with December 8th as one day where it is absolutely 100% okay to wear white past Labour Day. See you there!
