Water Polo Canada salutes the appointment of Gaëtan Robitaille at INS Québec
Water Polo Canada – (Montréal, May 4th, 2016) – Water Polo Canada congratulates Gaëtan Robitaille, who has recently been appointed as new President and CEO of the Institut national du sport du Québec (INS Québec).
Over the years, the national waterpolo federation has been given the opportunity to develop a close partnership with the management team at INS Québec and those involved with the operations of this world-class organization based in Montreal and entirely dedicated to high-performance sport.
The Executive Director of Water Polo Canada, Martin Goulet, has also noted the tremendous work accomplished by the outgoing President and CEO, Marc Gélinas, and is very excited to pursue the existing partnership with the support of a respected executive like Gaëtan Robitaille.
“Gaëtan is a veteran sports administrator who has proven himself time and time again, and has an excellent reputation. Above all, he really has the interests of INS Québec at heart. He inspires confidence. We want him to know that he can count on the entire Water Polo Canada team to collaborate at all levels,” said Goulet.
The senior women’s national waterpolo team has benefited from the exceptional facilities and services provided by INS Québec since the end of 2014. Canada’s top waterpolo women athletes practice there daily and are thankful for the range of integrated resources made available to them by the passionate and talented team at INS Québec.
“Today, we extend our sincere congratulations to Gaëtan Robitaille following his appointment. I have absolutely no doubt that his commitment will be in line with the magnificent mandate he has now been entrusted with,” concluded Martin Goulet.
