UNVEILING OF QUEBEC SAILING FEDERATION AWARDS
Fédération de voile du Québec – Quebec Sailing Federation is pleased to announce the 2016 Awards winners that were revealed at the Sailor’s Night held November 5th during which around one hundred people.
- André-Dionne Trophy (Volunteer of the Year) : Paula Stone
- Officer of the Year : Philippe Sauvé
- Instructor/Coach of the Year : Pierre-Alexandre Doyon from Club de voile Deux-Montagnes
- Club/School of the Year : École de voile de l’Outaouais
- Event of the Year : Transat Quebec Saintt-Malo
- Optimist Athlete of the Year : Éric Omielan from Royal St-Lawrence Yacht Club
- Young athlete – Simple – of the Year : Maxime Amyot from Royal St-Lawrence Yacht Club
- Young athlete – Double – of the Year : Alec & Cameron Baird from Royal St-Lawrence Yacht Club
- Evert Bastet Trophy : Justin Vittecoq
During the Sailor’s Night, the award “Tribute to the Passionate” was presented to Marie Giroux and Normand Corbeil for their dedication to sailing. Thank you to them! Congratulations to all the winners and all the nominees!
