UNVEILING OF QUEBEC SAILING FEDERATION AWARD
Quebec Sailing Federation is pleased to announce the 2017 Awards winners that were revealed at the Voile Quebec’s cocktail held November 4th.
- Andre-Dionne Trophy (Volunteer of the Year) : Nathalie Marois
- Officer of the Year : Pierre Felteau
- Instructor/Coach of the Year : Nicolas Crevier (Baie d’Urfé Yacht Club) & Rosalie Allard (Ecovoile Baie-des-Chaleurs)
- Club/School of the Year : Écovoile Baie-des-Chaleurs
- Event of the Year : 420 Canadian Championships
- Optimist Athlete of the Year : Jean-René Kiekens (Royal St-Lawrence Yacht Club)
- Young athlete – Simple – of the Year : Justin Vittecoq (Pointe-Claire Yacht Club)
- Young athlete – Double – of the Year : Alec & Cameron Baird (Royal St-Lawrence Yacht Club)
- Evert Bastet Trophy : Coralie Vittecoq (Pointe-Claire Yacht Club)
During the Sailor’s Night, the award “Tribute to the Passionate” was presented to Johann Tanzer and Pierre Morel for their dedication to sailing. Peter Hall was also inducted to the Voile Quebec’s Hall of fame due to his exceptional performances and his involvement in the development of high performance sailing. Thank you to them!
