Canada Basketball – TORONTO, ON (May 17, 2016) – Canada Basketball’s Men’s High Performance will conduct open tryouts for the 2017 U19 Men’s National Team at Humber College – Lakeshore Campus (Etobicoke, ON) on Sunday June 11, 2017.
 
National team coaches will assess players for potential inclusion in the team’s selection camp, which will immediately follow the open tryout. Tryouts are open to all Canadian male athletes born January 1, 1998 or later who have a valid Canadian passport.
 
The final U19 Team will travel to Cairo, Egypt for the FIBA U19 Basketball World Cup from July 1^st – 9^th, 2017.
 
REGISTRATION

Registration will take place Sunday at 4:30 pm. A registration fee of $20.00 CAD must be paid in full upon arrival and will include a t-shirt for athletes to wear during the tryout.
 
All athletes must bring a Canadian passport and provincial birth certificate. Athletes are also responsible for their own gear, taping and expenses to attend. An athletic therapist will be on-site.
