Rugby Ontario – (Oakville, Ont.) – This past week the Men’s U19 Blues hosted the US touring Boys High School All Americans – showcasing players from 13 states in total. The teams faced off twice at Appleby College in Oakville with the All Americans taking both games – the first on June 30 (27-14) and the second on July 2 (38-5).

Both matches were very physical and open, with both sides playing fast, smart rugby right down to the last whistle. The Blues cycled through a squad of 35 players over the two games – all of which were vying for spots on the final roster that will be competing in the Canadian Rugby Championship. The coaching staff will now look to further narrow down their roster to a short list of 24 players.
The U19 Blues will play one final exhibition game in Burlington on July 11 against the top English School team – RGS High Wycombe – before moving forward to compete in the 2016 Canadian Rugby Championship, which will be hosted in Toronto in July.
