Two new appointments as part of INS Québec’s mission to be a performance partner
Institut national du sport du Québec – Montreal, October 11, 2016 – The Institut national du sport du Québec (INS Québec) is pleased to announce two new appointments to its team. These appointments are fundamental to INS Québec accomplishing its mission to be a key performance partner.

Marie-Ève Lapierre – Sports Medicine Service
Marie-Eve Lapierre joined the medical team as a Sports Medicine Project Manager on September 28. Her experience in administrative management and in data management, combined with her studies in biomedical science, will make an important contribution to advancing research projects carried out by INS Québec in the field of high-performance sport.
Prior to joining the INS Québec team, Ms. Lapierre had served as a project planning and management officer for the Organizing Committee of the 51st Final of the Quebec Games – Montreal 2016. She also worked in the pharmaceutical industry as an administrative technician and research officer.
Anne-Renée Thibault – Performance Services

Anne-Renée Thibault joined Performance Services as a Supervisor on October 11. This appointment is part of the implementation of new performance services aimed to enhance training and the provision of INS Québec’s integrated services.
Anne-Renée’s experience as a manager, together with her many years working as a high-performance coach, will support INS Québec’s efforts to be a key performance partner. Her knowledge of the sports system, as well as her sports administration skills, will make her a major player in this service.
Prior to joining the INS Québec team, Ms. Thibault was a coach for Canada’s national rowing team for five years, and she took part in the 2008 Paralympic Games in Beijing. She also served as head coach and technical coordinator for the Association québécoise d’aviron. Upon joining INS Québec, Ms. Thibault worked as a head trainer with Énergie-Cardio.
