Team. “The Continental Championships is a stepping stone, to the Youth World Championships,” says Daniel Trépanier, Boxing Canada’s High Performance Director. “The Continental Championships give us an opportunity to expose some of
our younger athletes to an international competition and it represents a great learning opportunity for them to compete at a high level.”

The Canadian contingent will be accompanied by coaches João Carlos Barros, Sylvain Gagnon and Jill Perry. Additionally, Canadian Nathalie Lacombe, an AIBA 1-star certified official, will also participate in the tournament as a referee and judge.
The media weigh in and the official draw will take place on May 21st, 2018. The competition will be available through live streaming and you will be able to follow our boxers’ progress on our Event Web Page dedicated to the event as well as all
