True Sport – A new year brings endless possibilities. It’s a time for reflection and growth – to follow through on things we’ve always wanted to do but haven’t gotten around to. In 2016, we encourage True Sport members to continue to enrich their communities by spreading the message that good sport can make a great difference.

While it’s easy to make a resolution, sometimes it’s hard to figure out where to start. Need inspiration? Check out the winners’ stories from the 2015 True Sport Give-Back Challenge! Think one person can’t make a difference? Take a look at our True Sport Champions spotlight in the Champions Corner! Curious about how important good sport is to our children? Watch the West Ottawa Soccer Club’s video on what children like and dislike about sport!

These are just some of the great stories you’ll see in this issue. And, if you’re planning on attending the Canadian Sport for Life Summit, January 26-28, come listen to at least one of the four True Sport members who will be presenting.

Let’s all aim to make 2016 the greatest year yet for values-based and principle-driven sport!
