Triathlon BC  – Vancouver – Triathlon BC, together with its partner Race Directors, has confirmed the 2017 Provincial Championship calendar. Seven events span the Championship season, visiting Vancouver Island on two occasions, while making routine stops throughout the Okanagan Valley. 

·         May 13, Duathlon Championships – Bare Bones Duathlon

·         May 28, High School Championships (Sprint Distance) – Comox Tri-K Triathlon

·         June 4, Long Distance Championships – Oliver Half Iron

·         June 24, Junior Championships – Vernon Triathlon

·         July 9,  Cross Championships – Xterra Victoria

·         July 15 & 16, Standard Distance Championships – Peach Classic

·         July 15 & 16, Sprint Distance Championships – Peach Classic

Triathlon BC’s Provincial Championship events uphold values such as participation and inclusivity, while offering performance pathway athletes an opportunity to test themselves against the best competitors from British Columbia in their pursuit of a Champion’s title.

All competitors, regardless membership or residency status are encouraged to participate in the Championship events, with the top three male and female competitors in each age category going on to receive uniquely-crafted Provincial Champion medals supplied by Triathlon BC.  Annual Provincial Champion titles, together with an assortment of prize memorabilia, are awarded to the first Triathlon BC member across the line in each age category.
