Curling Canada – Curling’s most unique event returns to Las Vegas in 2017, and curling fans can now get a jump on the crowd by taking advantage of a special ticket offer, beginning today.

Organizers for the 2017 World Financial Group Continental Cup, presented by Boyd Gaming, announced today an early-bird offer that puts the ever-popular Hit & Stay packages at a price $40 lower than in 2016.

“It’s our way of saying thanks to the thousands of fans who are responsible for us setting a new attendance record last January for a curling event in the United States,” said event manager Jon Killoran.

The Hit & Stay package, which includes 11 draws of curling over four days, plus five nights accommodation at the Orleans Hotel and Casino, is priced at $731 (all dollar figures US). The same package for two people in the same room is $959. The Old Classic tickets-only package is $238.

Tickets can be purchased at www.curling.ca/2017continentalcup/tickets/

The World Financial Group Continental Cup, presented by Boyd Gaming, will be held Jan. 12-15 at the Orleans Arena, featuring six teams from North America up against six of the best from the rest of the world. Teams skipped by Chelsea Carey and Kevin Koe, both from Calgary, have already qualified for Team North America. Two more will be decided at the Home Hardware Canada Cup, Nov.30-Dec. 4, in Brandon, Man., while the two remaining teams will be from the United States. Team World’s entries will be named at about the same time.

The early-bird ticket offer ends May 17, and fans are encouraged to buy early, as the Orleans Hotel and Casino sold out months in advance for both the 2014 and 2016 events.

To add even more value to the equation, fans who purchase by May 17 will also be entitled to early-bird savings on the purchase of tickets to the 2018 World Men’s Championship, when those tickets go on sale. The 2018 World Men’s will be held in Las Vegas March 31-April 8.
