The Honourable Kent Hehr & The Honourable Chantal Petitclerc to attend CAAWS Lunch & Learn on November 28th!
CAAWS – Join CAAWS & CAC for a special Lunch & Learn presentation of our new Female Coach Mentorship Model in Ottawa on November 28.
Mentorship is a key strategy for supporting the advancement of women as leaders, including as coaches, but not all mentorship is truly effective.
Join CAAWS for a special Lunch & Learn presentation and discussion of the new CAAWS/CAC Female Coach Mentorship Model, which offers practical guidance and activities for mentees, mentors and sport administrators to support effective and sustainable mentoring relationships and programs. Developed, tested and evaluated in partnership with four NSOs and the University of Toronto, this model offers a proven tool that can be implemented right “out of the box”.
Participants will also enjoy a buffet lunch and a chance to network with colleagues.
This Lunch & Learn is for anyone interested in developing and retaining women in coaching and in other leadership roles in sport and physical activity. We encourage men to participate!
