The February Issue of In the Neutral Zone is now Available
SDRCC – Montréal (Québec) – The February 2017 issue of In the Neutral Zone, the newsletter of the Sport Dispute Resolution Centre of Canada (SDRCC), is now available online at http://www.crdsc-sdrcc.ca/eng/media-newsletters.
In this edition, a lawyer from the SDRCC pro bono program discusses what she perceives to be a new trend at the SDRCC: the increasing application of the principle of deference and the decline in number of appeals granted. In addition to the profile of an SDRCC arbitrator, the newsletter also contains several SDRCC news and announcements.
To better serve the Canadian sport community, the SDRCC welcomes comments and feedback regarding its newsletter and educational materials. This can be done by sending a message to firstname.lastname@example.org.
The SDRCC is a not-for-profit corporation created by federal legislation and funded by the Government of Canada. The mission of the SDRCC is to provide the sport community with a national alternative dispute resolution service and strengthen the culture of fairness in Canadian sport by resolving disputes quickly and efficiently and to provide expertise and assistance regarding alternative dispute resolution.
