Canadian Lacrosse Association – OTTAWA, ON (June 10, 2016) – The Canadian Lacrosse Association (CLA) is pleased to welcome Dane Hansen back to the organization as he takes on the role of Finance and Administration Coordinator. He will join Jane, Jean-François and Alain at the CLA office in Ottawa.

Dane most recently worked as the Administrative Coordinator with Football Canada, where he was tasked with planning meetings, handling finances, and other clerical duties. Prior to that, Dane worked for the CLA in a variety of roles between 2013 and 2016. He was first hired on as an intern in 2013, and remained involved through contract work until earlier this year. Throughout his time with the CLA, Dane has worked in many different program areas including coaching, communications, transfers, and national championship administration.

Since the age of 12, Dane has been involved with the sport of lacrosse as an athlete, coach, and official. After playing minor lacrosse in his hometown of Brockville, ON, he transitioned to coaching (NCCP Trained, Lacrosse Community Development) and officiating (NOCP Level 3).

A varsity football player with the Western University Mustangs, Dane obtained a Bachelor of Psychology from the London, ON based school. He later went on to complete a Graduate Diploma in Sports Business Management at Algonquin College in Ottawa, ON.
