Canadian Lacrosse Association – OTTAWA, ON, February 17th, 2016 ‐ The Canadian Lacrosse Association (CLA) is pleased to announce the appointment of Alain Brouillette as CLA Communications, Marketing and Promotions Coordinator. Alain will join Jane and Jean‐Francois in Ottawa at the CLA Office.

Alain has a Bachelor of Commerce in Sports Administration from Laurentian University and a Masters of Human Kinetics in Sport Management from the University of Ottawa. Alain brings more than five years working in the Canadian sport system and is also familiar with the sport of lacrosse, having been both a recreational player and a university volunteer administrator in lacrosse.

For the last three years, Alain served as the Domestic Competitions Coordinator with Volleyball Canada. During his time with Volleyball Canada, Alain was responsible for planning and on‐site delivery of national championships and helping execute the event communications plan for national championships. Alain also has experience acting as an account manager for several national sponsors, ensuring the fulfillment of deliverables and developing social media exposure plans.

As Communications, Marketing and Promotions Coordinator, Alain will be responsible for communicating and collaborating with CLA partners to effectively administer and perform the day‐today CLA mass communications including, but not limited to public and social media management, website management, promotions, and resource development and design for CLA publications such as Sticks and Stones.
