KidSport Winnipeg – On February 9, 2016 in St. Louis, MO. Bobby Hull presented Mark Scheifele, Winnipeg Jets forward and KidSport Winnipeg Athlete Ambassador, with a donation of $10,000. The donation will fund the registration fees for financially disadvantaged children in Winnipeg so they can participate in sports.

“The Bobby Hull Foundation for Children is proud to support KidSport Winnipeg and to know that we are helping give kids the chance to participate in sports.” said Hull.

Hull, along with a number of other participants from Winnipeg, was in St. Louis as part of the Foundation’s first fundraising event which included the opportunity to attend the Winnipeg Jets vs St. Louis Blues hockey game.

“On behalf of KidSport Winnipeg I’d like to thank Bobby and his foundation for their generous donation,” said Scheifele. “It’s great to know more kids in Winnipeg will be given the chance to be a part of a team and play a sport they love.”
