Tennis Canada – Try tennis at Tennis Day in Canada pre-event at Aviva Centre

WHAT: Over 100 children from two local schools will be celebrating Tennis Day in Canada with a special trip to Aviva Centre, home of Rogers Cup presented by National Bank. They will receive a free tennis racquet and be introduced to the sport of tennis, spending the morning participating in a variety of tennis-related games and ParticipACTION 150 Play List activities.
*Media members are also invited to get on a court and try tennis themselves*

About Tennis Day in Canada: The first-ever Tennis Day in Canada will be held on Saturday May 13, with all Canadians encouraged to pick up a racquet and try the sport of tennis on this day. Over 150 clubs from across Canada will also be offering free programming and lessons, and Canadians will have the chance to win a trip to Rogers Cup in Toronto or Montreal by sharing their #TennisDay experience on social media.
