Team Ontario will be generating excitement for the Games with a celebratory pep rally in advance of competitions beginning later this week.
Team Ontario, in partnership with Team BC, will be donating one pair of athletic shoes from each member of the teams to the Winnipeg Boys and Girls Club as a thank you to the host community. Jennifer Bennett, Chef de Mission from Team Ontario will be making a presentation to Michelle Schmidt, Director of Programs, and some young participants of the Boys and Girls Club at the pep rally.
The Honourable Eleanor McMahon, Ontario’s Minister of Tourism, Culture and Sport, will be attending the pep rally.
