TEAM CANADA PLAYING STRONG IN POLAND
Ultimate Canada – August 2 – The 2016 World Junior Ultimate Championships continue in Wroclaw, Poland! The Under-20 tournament features 49-teams across the Open and Women’s divisions, with games being played from July 31-August 5. Team Canada opened the tournament with wins and continued the strong play on their second day of games.
Team Canada features players from across the country that have come together for this opportunity to develop their skills. This tournament is a great opportunity for the next generation of Ultimate players to test their abilities against international competition.
Canada is returning to the WJUC after dual podium finishes in 2014. Team Canada is defending a silver medal in the Open division and gold in the Women’s division.
Team Canada Open will face Japan and the host Poland team on Wednesday, while the Women’s team meets Austria and France.
