Racquetball Canada – Winnipeg, April 15, 2017 – Team Canada’s medal hopes are over at the 2017 Pan Am Championships being played in San Jose Costa Rica. 
 
Mike Green of Hamilton faced Alejandro Landa of Mexico in Thursday’s quarterfinal. Landa, who was seeded third, defeated Green with scores of 15-12, 15-3.
Samuel Murray of Baie-Comeau had a great start to his match against the number one seed, Javier Mar (MEX), winning the first game 15-5. Mar was ahead in the second match when Murray injured himself diving for a ball. Murray continued to play but was affected by his injury and lost the next two matches 15-4, 11-3. 
 
Tim Landeryou of Calgary and Pedro Castro of Brossard lost to Luiz Perez and Ramon De Leon of the Dominican Republic in Thursday’s doubles quarterfinal with scores of 15-6, 15-10.

Luis Perez / Ramon De Leon (DOM) defeated Tim Landeryou / Pedro Castro (CAN), 15-6, 15-10.
