Taekwondo Canada – Taekwondo Canada and the entire taekwondo community around the world mourns the loss of Grand Master Chong Soo Lee, who passed away on July 5, 2017 at the age of 79.

Grand Master Chong Soo Lee was a well-respected taekwondo Grand Master and Taekwondo Canada’s most accomplished and successful National Coach. He brought taekwondo to Canada in 1964. Over the past 53 years, his commitment and dedication have influenced numerous taekwondo practitioners in Canada and around the world.

Grand Master Lee will forever be remembered as a man of good heart, and a man of respect and honour. We have lost a giant of Taekwondo in Canada, but we are certain the entire taekwondo community in Canada will commit to carry forward Grand Master Lee’s legacy. He will forever be immortalized as the legendary mentor in the history of Taekwondo in Canada and worldwide.

We ask to please respect the family’s wish for privacy as they mourn the loss of their beloved husband, father, father in law and grandfather. Chong Lee Taekwondo will provide information in the coming weeks with regards to the funeral service on their Facebook page.
