OTTAWA— A talented squad of 16 Canadian taekwondo athletes are jetting off to Manchester, England on a mission to compete for the podium in each of their weight classes at the 2019 World Taekwondo Championships, May 15-19.

Yong is currently the top-ranked athlete in the world in the women’s 46kg division, and Park competes in the women’s 57kg class.
