SUSPENSION OF ALL RSEQ SPORTS ACTIVITIES

Montreal, December 21, 2021 - In the wake of the measures announced on Monday, December 20 by Quebec Health and Social Services Minister Christian Dub and Quebec National Health Director Dr. Horacio Arruda, the RSEQ (Rseau du sport tudiant du Qubec) must suspend sports and extracurricular activities for all three sectors school, college and university until January 9, inclusively.

Although the RSEQ deeply regrets this situation, our first priority is to prevent the spread of COVID-19 and protect the health of all student athletes, coaches, volunteers, parents and other key members of the community.

We are in constant contact with government officials and will make every effort to notify the general public if there are any major changes in the situation.

About the RSEQ
