Skate Canada Manitoba – The Waskada Skating Club is pleased to host the 2017 Skate Canada Manitoba Open Free Skate Competition February 17-19 at the newly opened Waskada Arena.  This two-day event will host over 125 figure skaters from across the province, as well as from Saskatchewan and the United States. This competition is an opportunity for skaters of all ages to compete in events ranging from the STAR 1 to Senior to Adult categories. This diverse range of figure skating will provide spectators a great fan experience throughout the weekend.

“The entire volunteer team has been working tirelessly to ensure that everyone experiences the best that the Waskada Community has to offer”, said Carla Lee, the Host Committee Chairperson.
