Canada will open the tournament with a “Family Day” game against Argentina on Sunday, June 10 at 2:15 p.m. ET.  Argentina earned silver at last summer’s South American U17 Championship for Men 2017 and finished fifth at the 2016 FIBA Americas Under-18 Championship.

Next up, Canada will face Ecuador in a “School Day” showdown on Monday, June 11 at 11:30 a.m. ET.  Ecuador will be making their FIBA U18 Americas Championship debut thanks to a third place finish last summer.

The preliminary round will conclude Tuesday, June 12 as Canada faces off against Chile at 8:15 p.m. ET.  Chile enters the tournament coming off a historic victory at the South American U17 Championship for Men 2017 where they were crowned champions for the first time in the history of the competition.  This will be Chile’s second appearance in the FIBA U18 Americas Championship after finishing sixth in 2016.

All eight teams will battle in the quarterfinals on Thursday, June 14 with the winners advancing to the semifinals on Friday.  The two semifinals winners will go head-to-head for gold on Saturday, June 16 at 8:15 p.m. ET.

All 24 games will be played at the Meridian Centre in downtown St. Catharines.  For a detailed schedule, click here.
