Football Canada – Games take place May 20-22 in Halifax

 

OTTAWA, ON (April 28, 2016) – Football Canada, in partnership with Football Nova Scotia, announce the schedule for the 2016 Flag Football National Championships, taking place Friday May 20 through Sunday May 22 at Dalhousie University in Halifax, Nova Scotia.

Following two days of round robin play, Sunday’s final day of action concludes with bronze and gold medal games, starting at 1 p.m. AT.

The field of play features five divisions including the introduction of an under-20 male division which builds on previously established U16 and U18 divisions. In 2016, the event also moves from the middle of summer to a new time in the spring.

The flag nationals were established in 2007 and return to Halifax after serving as the province’s last host site in 2011.
