Manitoba Badminton Association – Winnipeg, Feb 5, 2016 – It was an exciting Friday evening as badminton hopefuls battled it out in semi-finals to advance to the Finals on Saturday! 



Rio Hopefuls including Andrew D’Souza, reigning 2015 Mens Singles Champ, have made it through to the Finals!

Finals will begin at noon on Saturday at the Winnipeg Winter Club.  The order of events for Saturday finals will be as follows:



Court 2: Women’s Singles, Men’s Doubles, Women’s Doubles, Men’s Singles, Mixed Doubles

Court 4: Women’s Singles, Men’s Singles, Women’s Doubles, Men’s Doubles, Mixed Doubles



Medals to be presented at approximately 4:00pm.  Medal Presentation includes Pal Chawla, the Winnipeg Winter Club Badminton Pro of 40 years who will be inducted into the Badminton Canada Hall of Fame later that evening.



Spectators can enjoy the rare show for only $5 as an adult or $2 for those under 18.
