Gymnastics Canada – WINNIPEG, MB (May 17, 2016) – Media are invited to attend the 2016 Rhythmic Gymnastics Canadian Championships running from Thursday, May 19 to Sunday, May 22, 2016 at the Duckworth Centre (University of Winnipeg) in Winnipeg, MB.

Hosted by Rhythmic Gymnastics Manitoba, this event brings together the top athletes from across Canada in the novice, junior, and senior categories in women’s rhythmic gymnastics. Throughout the weekend there will be a total of 70 medal events, and a Canadian Championship titleholder named in each category.

WHO: 

• Patricia Bezzoubenko, multiple medallist at the 2015 Pan American Games, and fellow national team members;
• 13 local Manitoba athletes;
• Over 200 delegates.
