Swim Nova Scotia – Best Times Continue to Fall at the Canadian Swimming Championships

Montreal, QC – Tyler Herron of the Halifax Trojan Aquatic Club finished 11th in the men’s 50m Backstroke with a personal best time of 27.20 during the third day of competition at the 2017 Canadian Swimming Championships in Montreal.

Para swimmer Danial Murphy of the Truro Centurions Swim Club made his way into the finals with a fourth-place finish in the men’s S5 50m Backstroke with a time of 56.95.  Natasha Sexton Quillian of the Sackville Waves Aquatic Team finished eighth in the S10 women’s 200m Individual Medley with a time of 3:06.39.

Competition wraps up tomorrow at Montreal’s Olympic Park Sports Centre, with prelims beginning at 10:00am daily and finals at 6:00pm local time.
