Swim Nova Scotia – July 30^th, 2018 – Open Water Racing Wraps Up During the Canadian Junior Swimming Championships

 

Winnipeg, MB– Ten of Nova Scotia’s top junior swimmers wrapped up competing in the open water events at the 2018 Canadian Junior Swimming Championships today. 

Top finishers from Nova Scotia include Hanna Mountford of the Halifax Trojan Aquatic Club finished 9^th in the women’s 3km distance; Hayden Bartoch of the Halifax Wavecutters Aquatic Club also finished 9^th in the men’s 1.5km distance and Lucy Jardine of the Sackville Waves Aquatic Club finished 11^th in the 1.5km distance.

Nova Scotia swimmers participated in 1.5km and 3km open water events this morning at St. Malo Provincial Park in Winnipeg, MB. Nearly 150 swimmers in various age groups entered the open water events, which was the conclusion of the 2018 Canadian Junior Swimming Championships.
