Golf Ontario – SUTTON WEST— Windy conditions greeted 103 players as they teed off for the first round of the Investors Group Ontario Women’s Senior and Mid-Amateur Championship from The Briars Golf Club in Sutton West on June 7. The low round of the day belonged to Etobicoke’s Marion Reid who shot a blazing three-under (69). The Islington Golf Club member was one-under after nine holes, and played the back nine two-under par to finish the day with the lead. With her low round, the 52-year-old holds the lead in both the Senior and Mid-Amateur Championship.
