Red sky at night – SEC-er’s delight!
Canadian Sport Tourism Alliance (CSTA) – Regardless of the colour of the sky over the Atlantic ocean in Halifax during Sport Events Congress 2018, we know every day will be delightful!
This line from the ancient mariner’s poem was related to predicting the weather for those who lived by the sea, so we’re predicting that the program, social events, vendor booth and activities will delight our SEC18 attendees!
Here’s what you can look forward to:
- Dynamic presentations from this year’s speaker lineup.
- East Coast flavour with Nova Scotia’s Tyler Hayden and Squid
- Story time hat includes Tom Grilk’s tale of how the Boston Strong movement turned tragedy into inspiration and Greg Stremlaw’s overview of the magical moments from CBC’s coverage of the 2018 Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games
New words to learn this year are ‘Sweatworking’, ‘Xperiential Huddle’ and ‘Flamingle’ – all fresh elements of #SEC18. Find out more on the detailed schedule.
Whether you’re up early to see the red sky at morning, or taking in the stunning view of the sunset from the ballroom at the new Halifax Convention Centre, you won’t want to miss a moment of Sport Events Congress 2018.
Don’t miss the deadline. Registration closes February 23.
‘Sea’ you on the East Coast!
