2017 Canada Summer Games
WHAT:
The 2017 Canada Games Host Society and Co-Hosts will host a red-carpet pancake breakfast to honour and celebrate over xx individuals who will carry the Roly McLenahan Torch as part of the Manitoba Hydro Torch Relay. 

WHEN:
Manitoba Day, Friday, May 12, 2017
Guests arrive on the red carpet: 7:15 a.m.
Ceremony: 7:30 a.m.

PHOTO OPPORTUNITIES

• “Paparazzi” will greet guests upon arrival.
• Each of the 67 invited torchbearers will walk the red carpet to receive a special pin and shake hands with each dignitary. 

OTHER

• Each torchbearer was chosen because they embody the Canada Games spirit in some way; from volunteerism and passion for sport to embracing diversity and overcoming adversity. 
• Torchbearers will be available for interview at the event.
• Upon request, interviews can be arranged in advance by contacting the Games’ Media Relations Consultant.
