READY FOR THE SPECIAL OLYMPICS CANADA WINTER GAMES IN CORNER BROOK! (reminder)
Special Olympics Québec – Montreal, February 28 2016 – This year it’s Terre-Neuve-and-Labrador turn to host the Special Olympics Canada Winter Games, which will be held in Corner Brook from March 1st to 5th.
Tomorrow is the big departure of Équipe Québec Team delegation!
Come join the families and supporters in encouraging the troops and sharing their excitement as they get set to leave for Corner Brook.
When: Monday, February 29
Where: Montreal-Pierre Elliott Trudeau international Airport – Departures Level – Door 2
Airline: The delegation will be travelling on Air Transat chartered flight
Departure time: Media expected between 9:45 and 10:30 am
Team Quebec 2016 delegation consists of 51 athletes, 1 mission leader, 1 team manager, 5 operations assistants, 7 head coaches and 10 assistant coaches, for a total of 75 people. The sports they cover are Floor Hockey, Snowshoeing, Alpine Skiing, Cross-country Skiing, Speed Skating, Figure Skating and Curling.
