Racquetball Canada – February 1, 2016, Winnipeg, MB – Twenty four of Canada’s best racquetball athletes will be in Calgary this weekend for the last Racquetball Canada National Team Selection Event of the season. The tournament is being held at the University of Calgary from February 3 to 5. 

Results from the tournament will be combined with the results from the National Team Selection Event held last November as well as the 2016 Canadian Championships to select the team that will represent Canada at the Pan Am Championships which will take place April 8 – 15 in Costa Rica. Results are also used to determine Sport Canada Athlete Assistance Program nominations and positions on national development teams.  

The Calgary Open Racquetball Tournament will be running concurrently with the National Team Selection Event. Sixty one players of all ages and abilities will be taking part in the tournament.

Racquetball Canada  – November 25, 2016, Valleyfield, QC – Thirty of Canada’s best racquetball athletes have gathered in Valleyfield, Québec for the first Racquetball Canada National Team Selection Event of the season. The tournament is being held at the Club De Racquetball Edouard Boyer from November 25 to 27.

 
Results from the tournament will be combined with other national level events being held later in the season to select the team that will represent Canada at international competitions in 2017. Results are also used to determine Sport Canada Athlete Assistance Program nominations and positions on national development teams.
