Powerlifting Athlete Suspended for Presence of Ephedrine
Canadian Centre for Ethics in Sport – (Ottawa, Ontario – October 11, 2018) – The Canadian Centre for Ethics in Sport (CCES) announced today that David Troeung, a powerlifting athlete, received a four-year sanction for an anti-doping rule violation. The athlete’s urine sample, collected during in-competition doping control on July 21, 2018, revealed the presence of ephedrine, a prohibited stimulant.
