Sport for Life Society – We are sending you this email asking for your feedback on an important new tool that is being developed at McMaster University called PLEA – Physical Literacy Environmental Assessment. For those of you completed the survey already, thank you very much; if you have not completed the survey, we would greatly appreciate if you could do so by July 31. 

The PLEA Tool is a program evaluation tool to assess how organizations/groups are implementing the principles of physical literacy in their programs for children and youth. The tool is designed to help organizations and program leaders identify and understand how their programs meet, or do not meet, indicators relevant to physical literacy. 

The questionnaire is online and will take approximately 15 minutes to complete. Once completed, participants will be entered in a draw for a $100 Tim Hortons gift card!

At this time, the questionnaire is only available in English. It is not feasible to translate the questionnaire and responses at this point, but the PLEA Tool will be available in other languages upon completion of the project.
