Nova Scotia Golf Association – We are pleased to announce that Peter Topshee has been hired as the NSGA Tournament and Communications Coordinator. Peter calls Truro, Nova Scotia home and he is a former member of the Golf Course in his hometown. He is currently enrolled at the University of King’s College in the One- Year Bachelor of Journalism program. Peter completed his Alma Mater at St. Francis Xavier University in 2015, where he received his Bachelor of Arts Degree. As a student of sociology, curious about the world around him, a career in journalism is a step that Peter is excited to take. A summer spent with the NSGA will allow him to hone his skills as a journalist and work in an area he has a passion for.

As a former participant in NSGA events, Peter is looking to give back to the community that has given him so much. Reflecting on his summer’s spent playing at golf courses around the province, he is eager to spend this summer coordinating events. Looking forward to this upcoming summer, Peter is extremely excited to meet and to get to know participants, volunteers and members apart of the NSGA world. The ultimate goal of the NSGA is to: coordinate, lend our knowledge and experience to provincial and regional championships, with Peter’s help. We believe that Peter’s background in golf and future in journalism will help you have the best possible experience with the NSGA and our events.

Peter begins work with us on May 2; please join me in welcoming him to the NSGA.
