CALGARY—A herd of medal-winning high-performance athletes will marry the worlds of sport and art as they charge into a Calgary school to launch a truly Canadian nationwide community outreach campaign with a high-profiled editorial cartoonist on June 7.

After rolling out the details of the unique crusade that will bring Canadians from coast-to-coast-to-coast with them to start lines around the world, the 16 athletes, representing 11 sports, will get out their sketchbooks and team up with cartoonist, Dave Elston, to conduct an art class with nearly 100 Grade 1 and 2 students at Alex Ferguson Elementary School, June 7, at 1:30 p.m.
