Ontario Soccer Association – Soccer Express becomes the OSA’s Official Apparel and Equipment supplier in a three-year deal

Vaughan, Ontario –  The Ontario Soccer Association (OSA) and Soccer Express Canada have announced today they have agreed to a partnership through which Soccer Express becomes the “Official Apparel and Equipment Supplier to the Ontario Soccer Association.”

As the largest volume soccer dealer in Canada, Soccer Express offers a wide-variety of brands and styles, and includes equipment for everyone on the field – from players, to coaches, to keepers and match officials.

“We’re ecstatic to have partnered with the OSA on this project,” Brad Leitch, CEO of Soccer Express stated. “The largest soccer dealer in Canada partnering with the largest provincial soccer body in Canada is a perfect fit for us.”

Soccer Express will immediately implement Adidas as the go-to-apparel on-field brand for all OSA programs.

“The vision of the OSA, as the leader in modern programming for its members, is in perfect parallel with the visions shared by both Soccer Express and our partners at Adidas. We are looking forward to working with the OSA and all of its membership, at all levels of the game,” Leitch said.

The OSA Membership can look forward to new and improved online soccer specialty retail buying at soccerx.com.

“Together we will run many different purchasing programs such as goalkeeper, coaching, and our newly launched OSA match officials’ store,” stated Leitch.

Club partners will be able to tap into the resources offered by the Soccer Express club sales divisions for both entry level and competitive apparel and equipment programs. Between access to most major brands and Soccer Express’ own in-house brand, this deal will cater to all the needs of soccer organizations across the Province.

“In the past, governing bodies have been typically entering into exclusive relationships with particular brands, when it comes to servicing their apparel and equipment requirements,” Bjorn Osieck, OSA Director of Business Operations said. “Taking an innovative multi-brand approach with our partners from Soccer Express allows us to utilize blue-chip brands like Adidas, and also a host of other brands, while also maximizing commercial opportunities. Through this approach, the OSA and its members are sure to get the best of both worlds.”

“We wanted to bring the top soccer brands and products to our members at a great price and service, and that’s what we’ve accomplished here with Soccer Express,” Johnny Misley, OSA Executive Director said. “The OSA is committed to building relationships with our partners that will benefit the entire Ontario soccer community. This is another great step for us on our way to strengthening those bonds.”

To further highlight how much of a priority the new partnership with the OSA is for Soccer Express, they will open their new distribution facility in Ontario in late 2016 to enable additional services for the 2017 spring delivery season.
