Ben Eoin, Cape Breton – Today marked the third and final round at the 2020 Jaguar Land Rover Halifax Boys & Girls Championships at The Lakes Golf Club & Resort. 

Owen Mullen of Truro Golf Club claimed top spot for the Boys’ Championship after firing the best round of the tournament, 2-under par (70). Mullen carded two bogies and four birdies for the day, and finished the tournament 1-under par (215).

Defending Champion, Mark Chandler of Chester Golf Club shot an even-par (72) today to finish in second place. Chandler finished with a three-day total of 221. 

Rory White of Ashburn Golf Club finished in third place, with a tournament total of 223. Jake Smith, also of Ashburn, finished in fourth place. 
On the girls’ side, Abbey Baker went wire to wire to claim the top spot for the Championship. Baker fired a final round of 4-over par (76) to give her a three-day total of 235. Abbey also took home the Juvenile Girls Division title. 

Four shots back, and coming in second place, was her sister, Haley Baker, who carded a low round of 75 for the day. Baker had a three-day total of 239. Abby Wamboldt of Northumberland Links finished in third place, while Danielle Cumby of Ken-Wo Golf Club took home fourth place.
