Motivate Canada – Gatineau, QC –  Canadian sport organizations are encouraged to nominate a youth in their network to apply for Motivate Canada’s annual ViaYOUTH Leadership Summit, hosted in conjunction with the Sport for Life Canadian Summit, January 20 – 22, 2019, on the traditional territory of the Algonquin Nation at the Hilton Lac-Lemay in Gatineau, QC. The application deadline is December 5th, 2018, and registration covers all travel within Canada, hotel accommodation, meals and swag!

The ViaYOUTH Summit will unite up to 40 youth from across Canada in a youth-driven dialogue focused on making a positive difference in their communities through the power of sport and physical activity. Delegates can expect to explore diverse themes including: personal and community transformation, mental health, diversity & inclusion, physical literacy and sport, leadership and, project planning. Delegates will be empowered to return to their community organizations with innovative project plans to address identified need.

If you are currently a leader in a Canadian sport organization, consider supporting the professional and leadership development of a young person in your network between the ages of 18 and 26, by nominating them to attend the ViaYOUTH Summit.  Youth delegates are also encouraged to register and join industry leaders at the Sport for Life Canadian Summit January 23rd – 24th.
