Canada Soccer – Media Advisory: Ottawa Media Activities ahead of Canada Soccer Women’s National Team match v Brazil

Media are invited to join the Canada and Brazil Women’s National Teams for interview and photo/video opportunities ahead of Sunday’s International Women’s Friendly at TD Place.

  • Brazil Women’s National Team
    • Saturday, September 1, 2018 – Official Training at TD Place
      • 10:00 – 10:15 – Official Training photo and video opportunity.  Training will be closed to media after 15 minutes.
      • 11:00 – 11:15 – Post training interview window  (interviews will be managed on site by Brazil’s media officer:  gregorio.fernandes@cbf.com.br)
  • Canada Soccer Women’s National Team 
    • Thursday, August 30, 2018 – In-person player media availability downtown (location to be confirmed)
      • 13:00-13:30 – Opportunity to do in-person interviews with Canada Soccer Women’s National Team players DOWNTOWN
      • Please confirm to Carrie Croft the names of the players you are requesting as soon as possible with a deadline of Wednesday, August 29 at 3 p.m.
    • Friday, August 31, 2018 – Phone interview window and training 
      • 12:00 – 12:30  – Phone interview opportunity with Canada Soccer Women’s National Team players. Please confirm to Carrie Croft the names of the players you are requesting prior to Thursday, August 30 at 6 p.m.
      • 14:00 – 14:15  – Training photo and video opportunity at Wesley Clover Park, 401 Corkstown Road, Nepean. (15 minutes open at start of training from 14:00 to 14:15 to capture visuals.  Training will be closed to media after 15 minutes.)
      • 16:00 – 16:20 – Post training opportunity for in-person interviews with Canada Soccer Women’s National Team Head Coach Kenneth Heiner-Moller and players
    • Saturday, September 1, 2018 – Official Training at TD Place
      • 14:30 – 14:45 – In Stadium Training photo and video opportunity. Training will be closed to media after 15 minutes.
      • 15:30 – 15:45 – In Stadium post training opportunity for in-person interviews with Canada Soccer Women’s National Team Head Coach and players

 
Media Accreditation
Media accreditation passes for the match can be picked up at the Canada training session on Saturday, but photo and film bibs can only be collected on match day.
